In Álava, support for the audiovisual sector is backed by significant tax incentives, making it an ideal location for film production.
Eligible productions include:Feature films, short films, and other audiovisual works
Audiovisual fiction series, animation, and documentaries.
50% deduction: When investments and expenses incurred in the Historical Territories of the Basque Autonomous Community represent between 35% and 50% of the total production cost.
60% deduction: When more than 50% of the production’s investments and expenses are made in the Basque Autonomous Community.
70% deduction: Applies to productions where the only original version is in Basque.
